Chief Tribologist of DysonAnalysis
Terry has more than 39 years of independent oil analysis interpretation and consultation work. At various points in his life, he has applied his knowledge of lubricants and tribology through ownership of a fleet maintenance shop, team ownership and driving in the ProSports Car/IMSA Professional Road Racing Series across the United States.
Terry also served for nine and a half years as a hazardous waste and petroleum/lubricants officer for the US Army and Navy. Terry is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a member of Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (#38307), a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, as well as a voting member of the American Society for Testing and Materials.
In 2014 Terry recently left The Cummins Technical Center, Chemical Technology Group/Lab R&D effort to return to Texas and full-time for DysonAnalysis.
Terry is also a retired American Airlines Captain (767/757) so his tribology and oil analysis has a professional attention to detail where quality and service are not sacrificed. Flying Tribologist comes to mind!
